Favorite Travel Accessory: The IPad

It's clear that kids of this generation have an innate aptitude for technology. They love our gadgets and our phones and before we've even figured out how to read the manual, they have figured out how to reconfigure the software. This technology competency combined with the Ipad can be of great service to the traveling parent. You can download a bunch of educational and fun apps (for free even!) that can keep your child entertained on long flights and even during meals at restaurants. You can pre-load it with episodes of their favorite cartoons or music so that comfort (and quiet) is just a click away. Plus, it's light and compact, so it hardly adds any extra weight to your already bursting bags.

I daresay Apple was thinking of us parents when they launched this delightful device. One way or another, HIGHLY recommended for the globe-trotting kid.
